6 Words For Your Life
Given only 6 words to sum up your life is a difficult task to do because you don't know what to focus on. Do you focus on the happy times, the sad, the boring, or the near death experience you had last week?? In all honesty, when we were asked to submit this in class I froze and had no idea what to possibly write about. Then it dawned on me. Although this may seem impossible, just write something about who you are today and what got you here, are you happy, sad, creepy, energetic, clumsy, or over run with things to do and exhausted? I wrote something to the effect of "Get a job, pass it on." At that point in my life I was so overwhelmed with everything that I had to do that I began passing on simple tasks such as walking the dog or driving. Although those seem minor things to pass on, I am a terrible passenger in a car because if I am going to die in a car, it is going to be because of my own stupidity not someone else's, and for me to say I won't drive when I am going somewhere truly shows the exhaustion I must be feeling at the time.
Ellen Degeneres
As Ellen shows us in her piece in technology and how it grows, technology is becoming more of a burden on society, and simply making people lazier. Sure there are no yogurts that you can eat on the go, and sure it may be fun for kids to eat, but if you're in a hurry, you should have started your day earlier or just grabbed a granola bar on the way out the door. People are always on the go and this is taking away from the standards that few people still hold close which include sitting down for dinner with your family, and arriving places on time because they were actually prepared and allowed time for traffic.

Social Standings On Campus
According to David Berreby’s It Takes a Tribe, when college students branch off into different social
groups, they pin themselves against each other. At Bridgewater State
University, I have not noticed any one social group pinned against another. I
also haven’t really noticed any social groups that try and stand out more than
any other group. Even the fraternities and sororities on campus blend in with
all of the other people, and apart from holding events throughout the year to
fund their groups, they go to classes with everyone else and participate in
other groups’ events like normal students.

Community
Communities vary greatly from one another, and choosing the right one for our project on community should be fairly simple for most people. I was thinking of doing the Pride Center on campus, where they pretty much follow the three assumptions presented to us in our text. Also the "Couch People" as referred to by Professor Williams could be an interesting group to observe and do a project about. However, once getting together with a group, we can settle an idea and begin the work on our project.

Tattoos
Tattoos are often seen by society as signs of a troublemaker and it can affect the view of the person by employers, friends, family, and, in reality, everyone. Whether the view from these people is good or bad, can not change the fact that the tattoo is there, and will be for life until the person is willing to spend $1,500 per square inch, and excruciating pain to get rid, in most cases it works fully, however not always, Tattoo removal is not always 100% successful of said tattoo. As it is shown in our passage September 11 Tattoos, tattoos are used to commemorate events, remember lives lost, and to show support of a cause. The tattoos shown in these pictures are to remember the lives lost on the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. I feel tattoos are a great form of self expression, however when getting a tattoo, you should consider places that can be exposed, but also be easily hidden in case you choose a profession that does not allow for tattoos.

First Post: Identity Project Plan
For my Identity Project I plan on assembling photos the represent and show the foundation of who I am. The foundation being the core group of my friends; Ashley, Jen, Melissa, and Steve. As a part of this group, we are always there for each other, and we are always up for an adventure, often leading to experiences that make us who we are.
